  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 box Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • as directed milk (for biscuit mix)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix according to package instructions, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough evenly over the casserole, leaving small gaps between each portion.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
  7. Mix melted butter with the seasoning packet and brush over hot biscuits before serving.
